Singapore, Oct. 15 -- A world leader in artificial intelligence-enabled medical technologies is expanding its global footprint in Victoria, Australia, turbocharging the state's position as a hub for lifesaving medical research, health technologies and AI.

Minister for Economic Growth and Jobs Danny Pearson announced that Optain Health will establish its Asia-Pacific headquarters and substantially expand its global Research and Development (R&D) and Engineering Hub in Melbourne.

Backed by the Allan Labor Government, the new headquarters and expansion will create up to 49 new jobs and $10 million in R&D expenditure, boosting local employment and economic growth.
