Singapore, Oct. 27 -- The Ministry of Health and Welfare, South Korea government, has announced the the launch of the 5th Comprehensive Plan for High-Tech Medical Complexes (2025-2029), aimed at advancing the complexes into Korea's flagship national biohealth clusters.
The High-Tech Medical Complexes are integrated biohealth clusters established in the Sinseo District of Daegu and Osong, Chungcheongbuk-do, in 2010 under the Special Act on the Promotion of High-Tech Medical Complexes. The complexes were created to promote medical research and development (R&D), facilitate the commercialisation of research outcomes, and drive the advancement of Korea's biohealth industry.
