Bangladesh, July 31 -- Heavy rain has caused waterlogging in some areas of Chattogram city once again, only three days after spells of showers left the port city inundated.
The city saw 64mm of rainfall from 6am to noon on Thursday.
The heavy rain caused waterlogging in the Katalganj, Kapasgola, Agrabad Commercial Area, AK Khan Gate area, Chawkbazar, and other parts of the city. However, the water started receding as the day went on.
Meanwhile, tidal water from the Halda River has risen in the city's Mohra area and has remained there for the past four to five days. The water has yet to recede, forcing residents to cope with the persistent waterlogging.
