Dhaka, Jan. 11 -- Huzaifa Afnan, a child wounded by a bullet fired from Myanmar, had gone to buy breakfast from a shop with her grandfather in the morning.
The 9-year-old victim, a resident of Whykong Union near the border, was initially reported dead by police after being shot.
Her uncle Shawkat Ali brought her from Teknaf to Chattogram on Sunday afternoon.
She is undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH), where doctors described her condition as "critical", and she was put on life support.
