Dhaka, Jan. 28 -- A passenger on a CNG-run autorickshaw has died after a truck struck the three-wheeler in Chattogram's Mirsarai.

Three others were injured in the accident that occurred in Borotakia area along the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway on Wednesday, police said.

Witnesses said the victim was a student of a local madrasa, aged around 17. However, police have yet to confirm the identity of the victim or any of the injured.

Borhan Uddin, inspector of Zorarganj Highway Police Station, told bdnews24.com that the incident occurred when a goods-laden truck hit a CNG-powered autorickshaw on the road towards Chattogram.
