Dhaka, Jan. 26 -- Police have detained an intern doctor over allegations of installing a hidden camera in the female doctors' washroom at Tangail Medical College Hospital.

The accused has been identified as Raihan Kabir Iman.

According to fellow intern doctors, a female colleague discovered what appeared to be a pen-shaped camera inside a toilet in the hospital's surgery ward on Sunday evening.

They alleged that as she exited the washroom, Iman attempted to take the device from her.

Colleagues also claimed he tried to confine her in a room and later damaged the device.

The incident was reported in writing to the hospital director later that night.
