Dhaka, Nov. 21 -- A seven-storey building in Chattogram has "tilted" towards a neighbouring structure following a 5.7-magnitude earthquake.

The building, located on Miyabari Road in Mansurabad under Double Mooring Police Station, is owned by former Chattogram City mayor M Manjur Alam.

Station chief Babul Azad told bdnews24.com on Friday, "Residents say the seven-storey building, owned by former city mayor Manjur has leaned towards the next building after the quake. We went to the site with the Fire Service after receiving the report.

"Some say it was already leaning while others say the earthquake caused the tilt," he added.
