Dhaka, Oct. 13 -- CCTV cameras will be installed in every polling booth for the Chittagong University Central Students' Union (CUCSU), hall and hostel council elections.

A voter list with photographs will also be used.

Speaking at a briefing with journalists on Sunday afternoon, Chief Election Commissioner Monir Uddin said that all preparations, including ballot paper printing, have been completed ahead of Wednesday's election.

He added that every effort is being made to ensure the election is transparent and credible.

Voting will take place from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday in the IT, Arts Faculty (New), Science, Social Science, and Business (BBA) Faculty buildings.
