Dhaka, Jan. 11 -- A court has ordered the seizure of a 10-storey building belonging to the wife of Gazi Hafizur Rahman Liku, assistant private secretary to Sheikh Hasina.

Rahima Akter's building, located in Keraniganj on the outskirts of Dhaka, has been valued at Tk 94.85, according to court records.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Sabbir Faiz issued the order on Sunday following an application filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), the commission's Assistant Director for Public Relations Md Tanzir Ahmed said.

On behalf of the ACC, investigating officer and Assistant Director Md Ruhul Haque sought the seizure of the building.
