Dhaka, Jan. 18 -- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is scheduled to visit Chattogram on Jan 25 to address a major election rally at the city's Pologround venue.

Preparations for the event have already commenced across the BNP's Chattogram city, north, and south district units.

The Chattogram city unit has already held preliminary meetings.

In addition, a high-level meeting involving party candidates from all 16 parliamentary constituencies in Chattogram has been convened for Monday at the residence of BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury.
