New Delhi, Jan. 31 -- Yamaha India has reduced the prices of its R3 and MT-03 motorcycles by Rs 1.10 lakh each. The R3 is now priced at Rs 3.6 lakh and the MT-03 at Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom), effective from February 1st. This is a permanent price change, not a limited-time offer for clearing old stock. With the new pricing, the Yamaha R3 is now more competitive against the Aprilia RS 457, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and KTM RC 390. The MT-03's price drop positions it strongly against the KTM 390 Duke and the upcoming Aprilia Tuono 457. Both bikes share the same engine and mechanical parts, with only differences in styling and riding position.
