New Delhi, May 8 -- Volvo is reviving the XC70 nearly a decade after the rugged wagon was discontinued and replaced by the V60 Cross Country. The new XC70 will be larger and built on Volvo's latest Scalable Modular Architecture (SMA), a platform designed for long-range plug-in hybrids. As of now, Volvo has not confirmed a launch timeline for the XC70 PHEV in India. However, the plug-in hybrid will be available for orders in China later this year, marking its initial market debut. Availability in other regions, including India, is expected to follow in subsequent phases, though specific dates remain unannounced. Read on for more details.
