India, June 12 -- The Volkswagen Virtus has completed three years in India since its launch on June 9, 2022. Despite the growing demand for SUVs, the Virtus has remained strong in the premium sedan segment. It is well-known for its bold design, solid performance, and German build quality, and has gained a steady fan base across the market. Volkswagen reports that the Virtus holds a 32% market share in the premium sedan segment so far in 2025. It has also grown by 7% compared to the same period last year. With strong sales and customer trust, the Virtus was the highest-selling premium sedan in both 2024 and 2025.
