India, Sept. 11 -- Volkswagen has announced price reductions across models, including the Virtus, Taigun, and Tiguan R-Line, following the government's decision to implement revised GST starting September 22, 2025. The brand's move aligns with the strategy to stay competitive in a price-sensitive market while enhancing accessibility to its premium offerings. The Tiguan R-Line has received a major price drop of up to Rs 3.27 lakh. It is followed by the Taigun and Virtus, which see reductions of up to Rs 68,400 and Rs 66,900, respectively. Besides the tax-aligned price cuts, Volkswagen is also offering limited-time benefits ranging between Rs 1.61 lakh and Rs 3 lakh on select variants of the Virtus, Taigun, and Tiguan R-Line.
