India, Jan. 21 -- VinFast has cleared a major hurdle in India as its VF7 and VF6 electric SUVs have achieved a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test. For a brand preparing to establish itself in a competitive EV market, safety certification plays a crucial role. Both models were evaluated under India's official testing programme, which measures occupant protection in frontal, side and pole impact crashes. The results place the VF7 and VF6 among the highest-rated vehicles tested so far under Bharat NCAP. With Indian customers increasingly checking safety scores before making a purchase decision, this rating gives VinFast a strong foundation as it builds its electric vehicle portfolio in the country.
