India, Jan. 6 -- Simple Energy has launched the Gen 2 Simple One electric scooter in India, and this update is all about core riding changes. The highlight is a new 5 kWh battery with a claimed range of 265km, making it the longest-range option in the Simple One line-up. The chassis has been revised to improve rigidity and stability at higher speeds. Introductory prices start at Rs 1.39 lakh ex-showroom. The Simple OS has six riding modes along with traction control and cruise control. The scooter gets a 7-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and 5G e-SIM support. Features include hill hold assist, theft alerts through a mobile app, and Google Maps navigation. Storage ranges from 8 GB to 32 GB, depending on the variant.
