India, May 5 -- JSW MG Motor India has confirmed that the upcoming top-spec variant of the Windsor EV will feature a significantly larger 52.9kWh battery, up from the current 38kWh unit. Despite the increased battery capacity, power and torque figures remain unchanged at 134bhp and 200Nm. That said, the range is expected to see an improvement over the 332 kilometres offered by the standard model. The Windsor EV Pro's price will be revealed on May 6 and is expected to be a bit higher than the standard Windsor EV. For reference, the current model starts at Rs 10 lakh under the battery rental scheme, which charges Rs 3.9 per kilometre, and goes up to Rs 14 lakh for the full ownership option.
