New Delhi, March 7 -- The Ultraviolette Shockwave, launched at an enticing price of Rs 1.50 lakh for the first 1,000 customers, saw an impressive surge of over 1,000 bookings within 24 hours of its pre-booking window opening. Due to the overwhelming demand, the company has now extended the introductory pricing for another 1,000 buyers. After the introductory offer, the Shockwave will be priced at Rs 1.75 lakh. In addition to the Shockwave, the company also launched its first-ever electric scooter, the Tesseract, priced at Rs 1.20 lakh for the first 10,000 buyers. All prices are ex-showroom. The scooter has an IDC claimed range of up to 261 kilometres, a 7-inch TFT display, a 34-litre underseat storage, and 14-inch wheels.
