India, Sept. 23 -- Triumph Motorcycles has confirmed that it will keep prices of its 400cc range unchanged in India, despite the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) hike on bikes above 350cc. The revised tax rate, which jumped from 28 per cent to 40 per cent, directly affects mid-capacity models. By absorbing the increase, the British manufacturer is ensuring customers are not burdened with higher costs for its popular 400cc offerings.

The move applies to all of Triumph's new-generation models developed in collaboration with Bajaj Auto. This includes the Speed 400, Scrambler 400X, and the newly launched Thruxton 400.
