India, Sept. 9 -- Many carmakers have embraced the recent GST changes and the abolition of Cess by promptly adjusting prices of their models to align with the new tax structure. Toyota has also confirmed to pass the entire benefit of the reduction in tax to prospective buyers. It has announced price reductions of up to Rs 3.49 lakh, depending on the model. The revised prices will come into effect on September 22, 2025, in line with the implementation of the new GST rates.
