India, March 13 -- Toyota has launched the updated bZ4X in Europe, featuring two new battery options: a 57.7kWh and a larger 73.1kWh. This marks a significant change from the previous single 71.4kWh pack. The new batteries have increased the power output. The 57.7kWh battery, available only with front-wheel drive, produces 165bhp and offers a WLTP range of 445 kilometres. The larger 73.1kWh option delivers 221bhp with front-wheel drive and a range of 573 kilometres, and 338bhp with all-wheel-drive and 520 kilometres. Toyota has also improved the energy density and cell count of both batteries and upgraded the electric motors with silicon carbide semiconductors for better efficiency.
