India, June 14 -- The Jaguar E-Type, produced from 1961 to 1974, remains one of the most iconic classic cars in automotive history. Inspired by Jaguar's Le Mans-winning D-Type race car, the E-Type Series 1 originally featured a 3.8-litre inline-six engine, later upgraded to 4.2 litres. Despite its stunning looks and motorsport heritage, many believed the E-Type deserved a V12 engine. Well, the folks at ECD Automotive Design have certainly made that wish come true.

The design firm has created a E-Type Series 1 with a original Jaguar V12 engine that puts out 400bhp.This restomod. The upgraded E-Type not only honours its racing roots but also adds new appeal for collectors and fans of vintage British sports cars.
