India, Feb. 7 -- Kinetic Green has launched the iconic Luna moped in India, but this time, in an electric avatar. With this, the Luna moniker which Kinetic Engineering marketed in the 1980s, has been brought back to life. It carries an ex-showroom starting price tag of Rs 69,990 for the X1 variant. A more expensive X2 variant, which retails for Rs 74,990 (ex-showroom), has been introduced by the maker as well. For the uninitiated, the original Luna was a simple, no-frills moped, made to get people from one place to another with the least hassle.
