India, Jan. 21 -- The Tata Punch facelift has scored a five-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test, giving buyers another strong reason to look at the compact SUV. Safety has become a major talking point in this segment, and the Punch continues to stay in focus for the right reasons. In the latest tests, the model secured 30.58 points out of 32 for adult occupant protection and 45 points out of 49 for child occupant protection. Bharat NCAP carried out a full set of impact tests to check how the car performs in everyday crash situations. With this result, the Punch facelift now sits among the safer options available in its price range.
