New Delhi, July 11 -- Tata Motors has introduced a major update to its EV ownership package by offering a lifetime high-voltage (HV) battery warranty, valid for 15 years with unlimited kilometres, on the Curvv EV and Nexon EV (45kWh). The company had initially rolled out this lifetime battery coverage with the Harrier EV. This benefit, available to new customers and first-time private owners, replaces the previous 8-year warranty and directly addresses concerns around battery life and replacement costs. According to Tata, the enhanced warranty improves the long-term value proposition of its EVs, with estimated savings of Rs 8 to Rs 9 lakh in running costs over a decade.
