India, Sept. 1 -- Suzuki Motorcycle India has begun recalling over 5,000 Gixxer 250 motorcycles across the country, putting safety first by investigating a potential problem with the rear brake assembly. This recall applies to certain Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 models produced during a specific timeframe after the company discovered the rear brake pedal might not always perform reliably.

The possible fault came to light during routine quality checks, prompting Suzuki to act quickly and responsibly before any real-world incidents occurred. The recall is entirely preventive, designed to address the issue proactively so riders can continue to enjoy peace of mind on their journeys.
