India, Oct. 28 -- The record-setting run was achieved in a standard Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI Essence, the entry-level model sold in Poland. The car was chosen over the Octavia because of its larger 66-litre tank.
Skoda's flagship sedan, the Superb, has added a feather in its cap by covering 2,831 kilometres on a single tank of diesel (regular). The extraordinary feat was accomplished by 2025 World Rally Champion Miko Marczyk, who set out to test the limits of fuel efficiency in real-world conditions.
