India, Feb. 1 -- Skoda Auto has completed 25 years of operations in India - which is a key milestone since its debut in January 2000 with the establishment of its plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad until 2022). The first-generation Octavia was the brand's first model here, assembled from imported parts in temporary facilities during the construction of the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar plant. It was followed by a lineup of models such as the Fabia, Rapid, Superb, and Kodiaq, all of which gained popularity and played a key role in solidifying the company's position.
