New Delhi, April 3 -- Skoda Auto Volkswagen India (SAVWIPL) has increased its exports, with 40 per cent of its India-made cars now shipped to over 26 countries in 2024. This marks a 20 per cent increase from last year, following a 38 per cent growth in 2023. SAVWIPL has exported 44,248 units in 2023, and with a 20 per cent rise, the number reached around 53,098 in 2024. Key export markets include North America, Africa, the ASEAN region, and the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (AGCC). Popular models like the Volkswagen Virtus, Taigun, Polo and Skoda Kushaq continue to drive global demand.
