India, Sept. 16 -- Royal Enfield has confirmed a price hike for its 650cc motorcycle range in India, with the revision set to take effect from 22 September 2025. The increase comes in response to the new GST 2.0 structure, which changes the taxation system for larger-capacity bikes in the country. Instead of the earlier 28 percent GST plus 3 percent cess applied on motorcycles above 350cc, the updated system now imposes a flat 40 percent tax rate. This has resulted in a noticeable jump in prices across Royal Enfield's popular 650cc lineup.
