India, Oct. 31 -- With a market share of less than 1% at present, Nissan effectively sells just one car in India - the Magnite sub-compact SUV. Despite doing such low sales numbers in the domestic market, Nissan India is doing quite well in terms of exports. The carmaker has just crossed the 12 lakh units sales milestone for exports in a little over fifteen years from the commencement of international sales from India.

In the past, Nissan has exported cars like the Sunny, Kicks, and Micra to markets including Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
