New Delhi, Feb. 28 -- A test mule of the Tata Sierra has been seen near FC Road in Pune, India, ahead of its anticipated launch by the end of this year. The spotted car is fully covered, making it uncertain whether it's the ICE or EV version, though we speculate it's the ICE variant. Tata Motors revealed the near-production version of the Sierra in its ICE configuration at the Auto Expo earlier this year. The new SUV is inspired by the iconic 90s model, but it introduces several distinct and modern design elements, including a sharper roofline, a more upright stance, and shorter overhangs. The traditional rectangular halogen headlights and grille of the original Sierra have been reinvented in the new model.
