India, April 29 -- Ferrari has revealed two new models - the 296 Speciale and its open-top version, the 296 Speciale Aperta - as part of its continuing focus on performance. These new models follow a well-known line of Ferrari special editions, including the 458 Speciale, and 488 Pista. Based on the 296 GTB, the Speciale version features a new front design and revised aerodynamics. With 435kg of downforce at 250km/h, the car offers improved grip and track balance.

Weight reduction has played a key role in the 296 Speciale's performance. Ferrari has managed to cut 60kg by using carbon-fibre panels, titanium parts in the engine, and a lighter cabin layout. This focus on weight reduction has led to better handling and responsiveness.
