New Delhi, April 22 -- Mercedes-Benz India has listed the CLA Electric on its website, indicating an upcoming launch, though the date isn't confirmed as of now. Previewed as a concept in September 2023, the model uses the MMA platform. Globally, there are two variants, but India is expected to get one, priced around Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom). The CLA Electric will compete with models like the Volvo C40 Recharge, the BYD Seal, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5, and also serve as an electric option against ICE sedans like the Audi A4 and the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe.
