New Delhi, June 3 -- Maruti Suzuki India sold 1.80 lakh units overall in May 2025, representing a modest 3.2% year-on-year growth from 1.74 lakh units in May 2024. While domestic sales declined by 5.5% to 1.39 lakh units, including both passenger and light commercial vehicles, the passenger vehicle sales within India dropped 5.6% year-on-year to 1.36 lakh units. However, exports saw a sharp 80% rise, reaching 31,219 units in May 2025, compared to 17,367 units a year ago, helping cushion the dip in domestic demand. The company also reported strong momentum in year-to-date exports, up 49.6% at 59,130 units.
