New Delhi, June 9 -- The Grand Vitara from Maruti Suzuki continues to be a popular compact SUV in India and now comes with six airbags as standard. Since its launch in September 2022, it has sold over 3 lakh units. The compact SUV is a product of a collaboration between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, and is offered in both mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid versions. The mild-hybrid model features a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 102bhp and 137Nm, and is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
