New Delhi, Feb. 27 -- A series of crash test images featuring the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara have surfaced online, suggesting that the automaker is gearing up to assess the safety and performance of its electric vehicle before it hits the market. These images appear to be from internal crash tests conducted by Maruti Suzuki, rather than external evaluations from agencies like Bharat NCAP, Global NCAP, or Euro NCAP. After facing criticism over some of its models' underwhelming safety ratings in global crash tests, the Indian division of the Japanese automaker seems to have focused on enhancing the safety features of its cars.
