India, June 12 -- The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, launched in November last year, has attained a 5-star safety rating in the latest round of the Bharat NCAP crash tests. It scored an impressive 29.46 out of 32 for adult occupant safety and 41.57 out of 49 for child occupant protection. This marks a major milestone for Maruti Suzuki, as the Dzire had already made headlines by becoming the brand's first model to earn a five-star rating from Global NCAP ahead of its Indian debut. In that assessment, it received 31.24 out of 34 for adult safety and a solid 4-star rating for child protection with a score of 39.20 out of 49.
