India, Jan. 21 -- The Mahindra XUV300 may have been beaten by Tata to get Global NCAP's 5-star safety rating but, it has achieved higher scores in adult and child occupant protection than the Tata duo.

Just a few days back, the Tata Altroz became the second made-in-India & the second Tata Motors product to earn a perfect safety score from the Global NCAP. Now though, Mahindra becomes the second homegrown carmaker to join this illustrious group, courtesy of the XUV300. The XUV300's 5-star safety rating though comes with an additional cherry on top. The XUV300 has officially achieved the highest scores (for adult & child occupant protection) for any Indian-made vehicle.
