India, March 10 -- Mahindra has introduced a significant update to its EV charging policy, offering BE 6 and XEV 9e buyers greater flexibility in selecting and installing chargers. Previously, customers were required to separately purchase a 7.2kW charger for Rs 50,000 or an 11.2kW charger for Rs 75,000, as these were not included in the vehicle's base price. Under the revised guidelines, purchasing and installing a charger is now optional under specific circumstances.
