New Delhi, March 26 -- Land Rover India launches the Defender Octa at Rs 2.59 crore (ex-showroom), available only in the 110 body style. The 'Edition One' variant, priced the same, comes with exclusive upgrades but is limited to the first year of production. It runs on a 4.4-litre twin-turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine, producing 626 hp and 800 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Defender ever. The Octa also features a 6D Dynamics suspension system with pitch and roll control for better driving performance. Marketed as the most rugged, capable, and luxurious Defender yet, it sets a new benchmark for performance SUVs in India.
