India, Feb. 24 -- Lamborghini has reportedly abandoned plans to launch its first all-electric vehicle. If the speculation turns out to be accurate, the Italian marque would join fellow luxury automakers such as Mercedes-Benz and Porsche in recalibrating their electric strategies, scaling back battery-powered ambitions amid cooling demand in the segment. For the unversed, Lamborghini revealed the Lanzador, a four-seat electric crossover SUV concept, at Monterey Car Week in 2023. The production version was scheduled to arrive in 2029. However, a report from The Sunday Times suggests those launch plans may now be uncertain.
