New Delhi, July 16 -- Kawasaki has issued a recall for certain 2024 and 2025 Ninja ZX-6R motorcycles. This step is being taken due to an issue found in the engine. The problem involves crankshaft bolts that may have been tightened more than necessary during the manufacturing process. This can affect how the engine functions and may create safety risks for riders. The issue with the over-torqued bolts is that it can reduce the gap needed for oil flow around the crankshaft bearing. If this happens, the bearing can wear out or fail. In some cases, the engine could seize suddenly while the motorcycle is in use. This may lead to a loss of control or mechanical failure.
