India, Jan. 15 -- JSW Motors is set to launch its first car in India, marking a foray into the market independent of its joint venture with MG, according to a media report. The forthcoming car is said to be the Jetour T2. JSW Motors has reportedly collaborated with Chery (a Chinese automaker behind the Jetour brand launched in 2018) to introduce the SUV in India under a JSW badge. Production will take place at the greenfield plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The Jetour T2 is likely to hit showrooms by the third quarter of this year.
