New Delhi, July 31 -- Hero MotoCorp has started accepting bookings for its new premium maxi-scooter, the Xoom 160, which carries a price tag of Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). First revealed at the Bharat Mobility Expo in early 2025, the scooter features an adventure-style design paired with a 156cc liquid-cooled engine producing roughly 14.6bhp and 14Nm of torque. Although the model was announced in January, its launch was delayed, with Hero now confirming that customer deliveries will commence in August. Equipped with features like a smart key, Bluetooth-enabled navigation, LED headlamp, and a fully digital instrument cluster, the Xoom 160 is positioned to make a strong impression in India's growing premium scooter space.
