India, Feb. 11 -- Chinese EV manufacturer BYD has unveiled the Atto 3 Evo, raising the bar for its popular electric SUV in the competitive market. As a more powerful and refined evolution of the standard Atto 3, the Evo features a larger battery, increased range, and faster charging. It has the latest iteration of BYD's self-developed e-Platform 3.0 and is now offered with rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options, instead of the previous front-wheel-drive-only setup. The model also benefits from a redesigned five-link rear suspension. In India, the BYD Atto 3 is available with a 49.92kWh and a 60.48kWh battery options, with an ARAI-certified range of 468 kilometres and 521 kilometres, respectively.
