New Delhi, April 9 -- BMW Motorrad has confirmed that the new R 1300 R, built on the popular boxer platform, will be unveiled on April 10, 2025. This comes shortly after the introduction of the R12 GS, a more rugged, off-road oriented model derived from the R 12 nineT. Although exact details are unknown, BMW's highly anticipated big boxer twin roadster is first set to go on sale in Europe and the US before arriving in India towards the end of the year. The bike is likely to feature substantial revisions to its design, chassis, and engine compared to its predecessor. While it's still early to comment on the price, the Indian-spec R 1300 R could retail between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 25 lakh in India.
