New Delhi, July 9 -- Ampere, owned by Greaves Electric Mobility, has introduced a five-year or 75,000 km battery warranty for its Nexus electric scooter, whichever comes first. This makes it one of the longest battery warranties currently available in India's electric two-wheeler market. The warranty is applicable to both the EX and ST variants. The EX is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, while the ST version costs Rs 1.25 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. To make the scooter more affordable, the company has also rolled out updated finance options with interest rates starting at 6.99% and lower down payment requirements.
