India, Oct. 12 -- Skoda opened bookings for the allocated 100 units of the Octavia RS in India on October 6, with a token amount of Rs 2.50 lakh even before the official price announcement scheduled for October 17. Now, the company has confirmed that all units have been sold out, reflecting the strong demand for the performance sedan in the Indian market. The Octavia RS was showcased earlier this year at the Auto Expo 2025 and has since generated significant buzz as a sportier alternative to premium sedans like the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, Audi A4, and BMW 2 Series. While the official price is yet to be revealed, the Octavia RS is expected to cost between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom).
