India, Feb. 11 -- The 2027 GLC 53 4Matic+ will be a sheer delight for performance enthusiasts, as Mercedes-AMG has reintroduced the six-cylinder engine. The new 'high-revving' 3.0-litre inline-six replaces the previous 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit, which powered the GLC 43 and GLC 63. AMG has redesigned the unit to offer sharper responsiveness and enhanced agility. The new 3.0-litre inline-six produces 443bhp and 600Nm (which can temporarily rise to 640Nm for 10 seconds with an overboost function). Power is distributed through the AMG Speedshift TCT 9G transmission and the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ system.
